Happenings

A new bike, mud puddles, field trips, chicken coops... The fun never ends!

Patrick was growing out of his old bike and then it broke. Time to head to the bike shop! He even found some cycling gloves so his hands won't get sweaty...at least according to him.

We have been getting a lot of rain which means mud puddles!
Joslin is taking full advantage.

Zummi is confused as to why this little person will not throw the ball for her. She brings it to Joslin quite often.

Joslin did sample some of the rocks she found in her puddle. Yum.A field trip to Rolling Ridge Ranch. Patrick checked out the ducklings but was not interested in holding one.

The kids all went on a horse drawn wagon ride to see and feed all the animals. Lots of hooved animals. I would have taken more pictures but Joslin was along for the ride and she was not completely convinced that this was a good idea. Eventually she settled down and waved to the animals but had a good grip on me.

The coop is under way!

Buggy ride

Joslin has a new helmet (Thank you Aunt Laura!) and she was ready to try out the buggy!

Pretzels- the snack of choice for a buggy ride.

Jason took them for a quick spin around the yard. Can't wait to go for a real ride!

Catching up again...

Ted and Lois came out for a visit. They blew bubbles...

They gave high fives...

They helped make a quilt square...

We celebrated Jason's birthday...

Happy Birthday Jason!

We toured the Statehouse...(with Gen. Grant as our tour guide!)
It was so windy too. Jimminy!

We also watched the cannons go off at the Civil War Encampment on the Statehouse lawn.

Patrick also got to meet Abe Lincoln!

And to top off the birthday celebration, Statehouse tour and cannon firing we all got parking tickets when our meters ran out. We got tickets within 2 minutes of the meters running out. Good times!
